A Note from the Founders:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead

With the inaugural rePRO  Film Festival officially concluded, we cannot adequately thank all of the amazing people who have supported us – literally turning a dream into a national film festival in just six weeks. We sold tickets in 29 states, raised thousands of dollars for our Beneficiary Organizations, and most importantly, brought together artists and activists from around the globe for conversations about awareness and advocacy. This Village of voices is one of the best things to come from this experience and we’re so glad to have you as part of the rePRO family.

Our final Call-to-Action: Make sure you’re registered to vote and do it now. Educate yourself on both the people and policies at the federal, state and local levels. Don’t delay! We encourage everyone to check out Vote411 for nonpartisan, factual information on how, when, and where to vote.

You can continue to support rePRO by donating to mama.film future rePRO screenings and Call-to-Action Conversations.

About rePRO

Through various lenses – and by harnessing the power of cinema as a catalyst for connection and conversation – rePRO presented by mama.film, explores the past, present, and future of women’s and AFAB people's reproductive healthcare, awareness, advocacy and bodily integrity in America.

* Our definition of “women” includes transgender, genderqueer and non-binary people who are woman-identified.

rePRO is a five-day virtual film festival (August 12-16, 2020) presented by the Wichita & Cleveland based organization, mama.film. mama.film is a film series to unite nurturers of all kinds, to ignite conversation and to reflect upon our shared human experience.

With the rising threat to American women’s autonomy over their own bodies, we call on our audience to lift up the voices of those who are advocating for women’s reproductive justice during this vital election year, to vote accordingly and to establish a more equitable future generations to come.
